AIA's
first symposium on Integrated Automation for Global Competitiveness. Speakers
from power, metals, oil, paper, pharma & life sciences shared a common cross-industry
platform with 200 delegates. Event was inaugurated by Kapil Sibal.
The
speakers at the forum, represented market leaders from the Pulp & Paper sector,
industry specialists and the leading automation companies in India. They shared
their thoughts on the specific demands of the industry , how automation technologies
are currently being deployed and their vision for the future.
Industry
leaders shared their experiences on how automation is contributing to their success
and guiding their future vision. Technology providers presented latest offerings
and delegates got to hear the OEM and consultant perspective as well.
Subodh
Kant Sahai inaugurated the seminar, seeking answers that raise standards and make
the food processing industry become more globally competitive. Presentations from
Nestle, NDDB , HLL , Parry's, United Breweries & others indicated sizable
value to have accrued to manufacturers of Milk , Milk Products , Rice, Beverages,
Sugar.
A
first event of its kind, applauded by the Key Industry Associations, TAI, CITI,
TMMAI, ITAMMA and leading Industry captains, for portraying the potential of automation
in upgrading performance levels of textile plants.

the backdrop of The Automotive Mission Plan, AMP 2016, and the emerging synergy
amongst all stakeholders, Automation India Association, AIA, hosted this Industry
Vertical Summit for the AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY.
PharmaTech
2008, was organised by the Automation Industry Association, to demonstrate to
the Indian Pharmaceutical industry about the benefits of leveraging cutting edge
automation technologies and responding to the emerging business environment. The
symposium brought together leading Automation process & solution providers
on a common platform, discussing industry specific challenges of operational excellence,
global regulatory and certification requirement, integrated performance management,
manufacturing and automation risks and return on assets.
WaterTech2008,
Chennai was successfully organised by AIA on 17th October, 2008 in Chennai. WaterTech
2008, was a 'vendor neutral knowledge sharing' eventwhich offered leading edge
insights by experts from municipalities, industrial plants, equipment suppliers,
project integrators, certification agencies and automation experts. Eminent speakers
presented the latest trends and best practices relevant to India's Vision. Specific
sessions like Water Conservation and Revenue Maximisation, Water Quality Protection
and online Diagnostics, Waste Water Treatment and Recycling were the highlights
of the symposium.
