Activities
The activities
of AIA are centrally coordinated by its Director with the assistance of the AIA
Action Cell. Currently we have a full-time action cell at New Delhi. The Action
Cell handles all correspondence with members and external bodies.
New
programmes and policy initiatives are usually driven with close collaboration
of the membership body. At present we have expert working groups constituted in
4 areas:
- Branding & Communication
- Industry – Academia
Partnership
- System Integrators & Information Integrators Growth
- Contracting & Arbitration Resolutions
Member
companies are encouraged to contribute to the working groups of interest to them.
For greater participation, we conduct meetings by rotation in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune,
Bangalore where membership body is substantial.
AIA also collaborates
actively with other bodies that are engaged in the development of Automation activity.
Industry associations, trade journals, foreign trade missions, exhibition organizers,
professional societies, consultants are welcome to contact the AIA Director for
joint initiatives.
